Today, on election day, I am thankful for my right to vote for whomever I please. I completely feel like we, as Americans, take that privilege for granted. I know so many adults who are not even registered to vote. I do not understand that. Voting is a responsibility, at the city, county, state, and federal levels. If you don't like something, voting is the way to change it.
You may not like my candidate, and I may not like yours. I don't care if you fall on the red or blue side of the ticket, but please, please, please exercise your right to vote! I have, and I hope you will too.
